Watch Where You Are Going

I was around 23 years old when I bought a John Deere MT tractor, It had a homemade 3 point hitch & the lift arms were attached to the rear axle with angle iron & pins. One day, shortly after I got it, I took it down to the woods to retrieve a big lightwood stump (kindlin'). I had a long chain hooked to the draw bar (on the lift arms), the narrow trail was very curvey. . . and the stump hung up on a tree at the edge of the road. I stopped, backed up a little, then put the tractor in first gear, and I was going about 2 m. p. h. . . . while I was looking back to see if the stump was gonna come loose (when the chain tightend up). The front end went up and when I determined something was just not right, I looked around to see the sky. The thing was pointed to the blue sky like a rocket ready to launch! It turned over and somehow I got clear of it. The Lord wasn't ready for me I guess. Thanks, my e-mail is zach@alaweb.com - if you have similar story I'd like to hear from you, and I hope nobody else has had this experience. PS. . . later that day I got it upright and took the piece of muffler off and cranked it up. . . the steering wheel had to be replaced also.
