Smoke house bluses
Back in the 70s I grew up on a hobby farm and was the youngest of 6 kids. My folks were orginaly from Milwalkee Wisconsin and my mother was from direct German decent... My daddy was a city boy but lived to be in the country.Any way, my dad got real hung up on smoked meat. Didnt matter what it was,turtle, venison, duckling.....you get the drift. The only problem was that he did'nt know what he was doing. My mother would have a fit every Sunday morning when my dad claimed the kitchen fir Sunday breakfast....he would leave a real mess and the meat he would bring from the smoker was lousy!! So one day she told my older brother ( at the time he was 16 and deep into chemistry class ) to blow up the smoke house ( it was an old refridgerator ) to KINGDOME COME!!!! He said: ' Yes Mother!!!' with evil glee. He went to making a bomb out of am EM-80 and other various chemicals that were equivilant to a quarter stick of dynamite. He blew that fridge ( smoke house ) about 30 feet striaght in the air and it landed about 15 feet from where it was before......not to mention the report it sent through the ground. The only thing I can compare it to is the 50 pound motors they set off at camp leguine back in the 80's when I was a Marine.
