Collector Profile for Bruce Wayne

My grandfathers lived 500 miles apart but both had Farmall Model 'H's. These are the tractors I grew up with and operated. I lived in town but would stay all summer on the farm in the '60s. I enjoyed operating the tractors, plowing and rode the John Deere row-binder, harvesting in very dusty conditions. My grandfather in Louisiana had a 1941 model, which I bought back from a cousin, in running condition. The other grandfathers tractor is a 1955, I think. I also got another Model 'H', and have begun working on the 1941, getting some parts ready to paint. I also got the row-binder and want to free it up and get it operating. It appears to have been horse-drawn, converted to be pulled with a tractor. I would appreciate any information anyone will give me on it. Bruce Wayne , entered 2000-02-17
