Putt-Putt | When I was a pre-teen in the early 60's, a local family had a concession stand that they always set up at the local fair. The consession stand wasn't real large, and they would take it to and from their home storage using an old John Deere tractor. We lived on a few acres on the edge of town on a small hill. Further up the road was an even larger hill. I remember many times when the fair was over, and they were going back home with their concession stand, with the old JD pulling it and the tractor was putt-putting up our small hill, and I would listen with anticipation of whether they were going to make it up that small hill. Once they made it, and the putt-putts became more frequent, my attention would often change to wonder if they would make it up the next hill. They always did.
