Dont Drive a Dozer in Deep Mud | My father and I were skidding logs out of our woods one spring shortly after a mild rain storm. Well, he was driving over a spot I knew was overly muddy to be driving on and suprisingly didn't get stuck. After a short break,he said I could drive.Bad idea.I had only driven this dozer a few times before,so I wasn't very sure of how to use it to it's potential. While skidding,I drove down the same way my dad had(over the mud) and suprise!! got stuck... Very stuck..The dozer was in the mud up to the undercarriage in VERY thick mud. It required two and a half hours to fight, cuss, and pull this seven ton beast out of the mud...Morale:Never let a 14 year old drive seven tons over deep mud,the outcome won't be good. tyler austin, vt, entered 2007-04-04 My Email Address: Not Displayed |
