A Dept. of Labor auditor arrives at a farm to check that the operator is paying minimum wage to all his workers.
The auditor asks for a list of all employees and their wages. The farmers says, "Well lets see, there's my hired hand. I pay him $500/week and give him free room and board." "Then there's my part-time milker. I give him $10/hour." "So that's it?" asks the auditor. "Oh, I almost forgot, there's also the half-wit." says the farmer. "He works 12 hours a day, 7 days a week and does 90% of the work around here." "I only pay him about $10/week, and he pays for his room and board, but I do get him a bottle of whiskey every week to keep him pacified.".
"Where is this half-wit? I need to speak with him immediately!" demands the auditor. "You already are." says the farmer.
