Disked in about 7 acres of corn stalks today. This feild is gonna ne soybeans and I wanted to knock it down and in so the ground starts warming, cornstalks start breaking down, and so as many corn kernals and weeds seeds germinate as possible before final seed bed tillage prior to planting and spraying. I guess I should have taken a pic huh? Next on agenda is to set up so I can spread chicken littler and get it disced in ASAP, preferably on a cloudy day with no wind so it doesnt dry out before I can get it disked in. Then I will be spreading the cattle manure, not sure if disking it in will be enough to incorperate it, really do not want to plow if possible.
