Well dummy me took the rear cover off the pump yesterday to replace a leaking seal. A piston/valve ( about 1/2" diameter..the only loose thing in there) flopped out before I had a chance to eyeball its orientation. Looks like two marshmallows on a rod to give you an idea. It has two piston like areas with a chamfered edge, and I need to know if the beveled edge faces the rear or the front of the tractor? I have an ITT book around here but it is playing hide and go seek right now. I guess I have a 50/50 chance of getting it right without help. Naturally after I get it off, it looks like it never leaked at the top, so NOW I see a hydraulic hose to the right ram leaking that"s the real culprit. Looks like the platform has to come off to get to the fitting. Brilliant. So anyway, if one of you has had the end off the pump, and can remember which way it goes..I"d really appreciate it. (or has the manual handy)
