Pics of D-4 with Briggs Engine

Here are a few pics. I've consulted another message board and talked more with the owner. The owner said that he got the story that Caterpillar comissioned another company to make these as premiums for dealerships and only four were made. I believe that the Caterpillar Toy Pedal Tractor was used as the base for this one. It was modified and an engine added. I looked up the serial number on the Briggs engine and it dates to the late 30s right in line with what yall are saying.
