Hope all of you knowledgable people can give me a little insight into my problem. I have a 95' Saturn (GM sedan) that gets me to and from work economically and relaiably. It has 164K miles on it now, and has a 5-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch. In November of last year I had a transmission shop install a new clutch. Everything went very well since then, but recently I have been having trouble moving the shifter into the slot of the selected gear. The shifter resists entering the gear, but there is no grinding. It is very noticable, for instance, when slowing down at a corner and trying to shift down into "second". "Second" seems to be giving me the most trouble. The problem is not so noticable on the upshift. More recently I have noticed other gears are just as difficult to shift into. My Hanes manual says the hydraulic system is sealed so there is no option to bleed the clutch hydraulics (thought there might be air in the system) Anyway, I was wondering if someone could give me some help understanding the problem before I return to the transmission shop. Best regards, Tim, Ohio
