Unless I knew something about the car and previous owner, I've always bought new. I like to be the only owner/driver, breaking it in myself, doing all my own maintenance, etc. I've always believed that how a vehicle was treated during the first couple of years determined its eventual life expectancy. But I guess this matters only if you're going to keep the car/truck for the next 10 or 15 years. Heck, they'll all run for 30K miles regardless of how they're treated. I know you're taking that big hit on the first year's depreciation, but to me it was worth the peace of mind to buy new. What do you guys do? (I did buy my MF135 several years ago, previously owned of course- never regretted that one!!)
