I've had a 1100 for years and am very happy with it. Ernie is right on in his comments. One other thing to look at is the front axcel and wheels. On some of the older ones the axcel and wheels where made of cast iron, which made for a very heavy front end. the later ones had a welded steel axcel and press steel wheels, which where much better. The original front wheels where 17 inch, I changed mine to 16" so I could use 4-rib front tires.
