Been sawing them into timbers where they fell during the summer months. Trying to figure out the best way to haul trees without breaking the bank through the winter so I can saw on my own property at night(bandmill). idea 1-make a log arch/pole trailer- pull behind F250 or tractor idea 2-side load a trailer - adding winches and ramps idea 3-Hire someone @$75/hr with single trees all over the place gets costly quick/works if theres many trees at one spot. If trees are close I drive the 63 Ford 2000 and use the front bucket to load trees onto a trailer and pull them home three logs at a time. Any ideas? Thanks Ray in CT
