no spark cub

i have a 51 cub cant get any spark. i am getting 6v to the coil, and 6v to the dist, but no spark. it has new points and cond.(second new set)the inside of the dist looks clean and nothing seems out of place. i tried a new coil, made no difference. any ideas? it is gapped at .020.
