I noticed that if I got the shaft/stub that the pto handle pinned to, stuck out another 1/4” then it stayed engaged, the internal spring would work. Problem was getting it to stay out to get handle on. Which isnt going to happen until the lift cover is off. That isn’t going to happen until after first cut is done or early fall. So I came up with a temp solution- cut a washer in half pried the handle out and slipped washer behind it. Now shatter engages/disengaged properly.
