While eating supper last night I heard what seemed to be someone running a John Deere 2 cylinder in the distance. Upon looking out I saw my neighbor on a blue tractor towing a brush hog in his field. After mowing for a while I had looked again to see he was stuck in the mud with it. I took my NH TC 33 with the backhoe on, went and rescued him.
Come to find out it was a 1999 RINGO 3000 2 cylinder diesel 4wd that he had acquired from his FIL. The 4wd had started to grind when he got stuck and only worked in 2wd. It was in exceptional shape for an almost 20 year old tractor and the brush hog looked new which he got with it. He didn't pay much for it, he paid about half of what the mower was worth. It told him that's probably a good thing.
I did a quick search for Ringo and not much luck. what suppliers that were out there seem to have closed up shop.
I told him I'd ask you fella's for any info or a place to start looking as I'm sure he going to need some parts. He does have the parts manual for it so at least they can be identified.
