I got non CRP waterways and ditches mowed today, probably did about seven acres. The neighbor does not keep his thistles down, so I mowed his ditch when the wind was blowing into his field. It took me about 3 hours total. I quit when I noticed the front wheel wobbling, thought it was wheel bearings, but the nuts had loosened, so I got lucky there.
I have a 5' king kutter that my dad bought me 10 years ago, I am thinking it will be time to upgrade to a 7' next year. I have it on 65HP tractor, so plenty of power, would like something that covers the wheel tracks. That 5' has done a TON of work.
