I ran into that with one I bought last summer. I ground it off (thinking the pin had mushroomed when the last person installed it) then ended up drilling it out and replaced the pin with a bolt. I tried heat and pentrating oil for two evenings before I finally drilled it out. Made me cuss a while too.
Both U joints were out and had been run a while that way a while.
