I tried on the Gardden Tractor board, but it's kinda slow getting a response over there.
I use my parents JD 425 to cut my lawn, do all the maint. on it, etc... so I don't have to buy my own $5000-$10,000 lawn mower quite yet(2 acres of lawn so I'm not buying a cheap model w/ a 48" deck)
Originally, it wouldn't start. After one guy made me think of it on the other board, it turned out that one of the kids on the farm pulled out the PTO switch. I texted Dad while I was at work so he checked it, sure enough it started.
Now it'd only run for a few minutes, maybe a few seconds, then die. It would start right back up and do the same thing. I looked at it, ran it a bit, and it did the same thing to me. Now I can't get it to start again, but now it'll crank, it just won't fire up.
Any ideas here? I'm drawing a blank, and after cutting my lawn with my brother's 36" walk behind skag w/ jungle wheels, I really want to get this lawn tractor going again. I miss the 60" deck.
