Good post Nancy, but I do have to take exception to the force feeding bit. No one is forcing you to watch your - expletive deleted - television and no one is forcing you to buy those awful "womens" magazines at the check out counter of the grocery store. Those two sources are probably the worst offenders when it comes to making women think they don't add up in the ideal woman department. But I've never seen anyone hold a gun to your head and make you watch/buy the crap.
