seeing as it's deer season I thought I'd share a deer story.
Back in the late 70's while on my 2nd tour at Ft Riley I worked with an avid hunter. He talked his wife into trying deer hunting and took 2 weeks of leave for the season. When he came back to work I ask him how it went........
"well not so good, I need to teach my wife hunting etiquette" So I ask why and he says...."well she needs to learn not to shoot a deer before I do...........and when she shoots her deer she needs to make darn sure it's smaller than mine"! Seems she shot a 8 point mule deer one hour into the season......Ed hunted the rest of the season trying to top it and took a spike buck white tail on the last day about an hour before sunset.
