I 70 to Salina is good. US 81 north from Salina is 4 lane, 70mph, most if not all the way to Nebraska line.
If if"s chow time when you get to Salina, take I 135 (on west side of town) south a few miles to
Crawford St. exit Russells on east side of road is supposed to be a good place
Another couple miles south, Magnolia St. exit, east to first main intersection (9th St) At NE corner of intersection is "Coyote Canyon"...my favorite buffet in the state. One price for everything you can eat.
