Hello..I am new here..got a 1969 International 656 Diesel Hydro that is slipping in High range Low is fine both in reverse and forward and reverse is fine in Hi Range. Been doing a lot of reading here and I have done the "stall test"...loads the engine about 400 hundred RPM's but will not stall it. Changed the fluid and filter still not change. Inherited this from my Dad he bought it new. If it only slips in Hi range what are the possible problems??? Heard something about slippery discs?? Cannot afford to have it fixed and it would be hard to break down this rig myself. did not know if there are any possibilites it is something other than major??? Look forward to any help you guys can give. Thanks in advance
