I wrote about my super c a little while ago not running. It was running and idled good but when I let out the clutch it would bog down and run rough. Or if I used the hydraulics it would bog down. It first started after the tractor got warm it would start bogging down
I cleaned the gas bowl and screen. I cleaned the screen in the carb they were all ok. I put it all together and it won’t start.
I thought it might be the carb so I took it off and had it rebuilt. I put it back on and it still won’t start. I gave it a shot of starter fluid and still no pop. So I am now thinking that it is electrical, to be exact I am thinking it is the coil. SO I put a tester on the back of the coil. I got power to the pin on the motor side but nothing on the pin close to me. If the key is on should both of these have power? Also I wanted to look into the points and I can’t get the distributor rotor off the shaft. I have tried everything but breaking it off. It is stuck. Is there a trick to getting it off? Thanks Ron
