Like bob said what your experancing is what is called Bridgen as the end of the rocker arm is woren off to one side and you are maken things worse , Put you glasses on and study each valve end and the tip of the rocker and only place the tip of tip of the feeler gauge in between . myself i have a small feeler gauge that i use , Or ya can pull the whole rocker arm assy. and send it to a machine shop and have the rockerarms reground to profile..
