Since moving down here to Austin, Texas, I never thought I'd restore any more tractors, but my wife today spotted one near a private runway, and we stopped by to take a look this afternoon. The owner will sell it for $500. It ran when last parked, and the motor is free. Good sheet metal, rear tires are original, not too worn. So that tells me that there wasn't too many hours on it. Narrow front, 6 volt, with the generator froze up. It has the belt pulley assembly, and the rims are all good. Still can see some of the galvanize on the rims. The owner restores antique airplanes. He has a runway behind his house in the subdivision of Cedar Park. The owner placed a radiator from a Super C in it, and he fabricated an 1 1/2 inch riser just above the grill bars to make up for the difference in height. If you didn't know anything about these, you would never know it was a fix. What a great fit. The best part about this, it's only about 5 miles from my house, we can pump the tires up, and just pull it home...
