I just installed a alternator kit I bought from Martin's equip on a SM I am restoring and I was very impressed with the kit it was well built and easy to install the only modification needed was a 1 inch longer belt and because I was installing new belts that wasn't a problem. I am also going to install a new wireing harness so I called Brillman and he makes a new harness for the one wire alt setup. I know the correct police won't like it but i'm doing it and it will be my way. I set all the sheet metal back on today just to be safe but the alternator fit under the hood is great.
