I know this is not the lawn mower forum but I respect the words and advice I have gotten in the past besides, I have found that alot of the people on this site have cubcadets. My question is this I have had a dissagreement with a friend regarding the proper oil to use in my model 2165. I should not be so picky but I have always used Mobile 1 15W-50 in my mower I felt it was the best. They just came out with a 20W-50 that they have designed for air cooled 4 stroke motor/motor cycles like Harleys. I was going to use it this year in my cub. I thought a heavy oil was good because that motor gets very hot during the summer. I know that they don"t push synthetics in the manual but Harley Davidson was the same way now they have a syn. My friend claims 10W-30 is better for the 16 horse OHV Briggs because thin oil cools better. What do you people think??
