Bought a rebuilt magneto, installed it, no fire. Dealer fixed it(2nd time I've returned it). Reinstalled it and now engine doesn't start that easily and when running engine runs rough(slight missing) at idle, wide open or anywhere in between. Thought it was carb, have installed two that I know for a fact are good ones from my own tractors and it run the same on all of them. Timed mag by putting #1 cyl on comp. stroke, line up the timing marks and with mag against engine I slowly turn it clockwise(looking at it from seat)until it fires. Moving timing doesn't seem to affect it. Compression is 115 lbs(new = 125). I'm really at wits end, as mag has been sent back to dealer twice and tractor will run now, but runs poorly. Tractor is ready to go to RPR next week except for this. What should I try next? Any info appreciated !!!
