Mike: From the description you give on the 3 or 4 pieces, sounds as though you are describing either plow chief or super chief bottoms, but I've never known those bottoms to be on a No.8 plow. They came with the models 60 and 70. The plow chief bottom has moldboard and shin on top and the point is about 2.5" wide with a separate share going to the right at the bottom side. The only difference in the super chief bottom is it has a one piece point and share. Of course these all have landsides.
