Right side looking forward? Or backward? Shifter is on the left side of the platform, only probably need to remove the finals and long fork, arn't those finals on a M high drum gears? On the later 300's and 400's there is a second mounting plate on the right side of the cover to put the shifter in for cotton picker use, also you would need a different set of shift rails to go in the right side, these would have to be changed back to the left side to convert back to a tractor. I think that the M is done in reverse with the final gears and would be easier to convert. Van
