CAnnot help with the timing, but just wanted to warn about the rotation. My WR9 had a distributor installed to replace the mag and it was wrong rotation. Cooked the rings and probably caused the head to crack as it retarded at speed instead of advancing. Seemed to run okay but not as it should. Will look in my IT manual and see if it says anything about the mag. Roger
