I replace the resistor and now it will not start with the new resistor. If I take our the resistor and connect the two wires, it starts and runs fine. I though at first I just had a bad replacement resistor and exchanged it for another new one. Same result. Will not start or even fire with new resistor but starts fine without any resistor. The new resistor does get warm if I try to start it continously for 10-20 seconds. I can't imagine that I would have been given two bad resistors. Anyone have any ideas?
