Here's one for the exhaust experts. I have a 1936 F-20. The outlet hole on the tractor's exhaust manifold measures about 2 1/2" in diameter. I have a spare manifold which came with the tractor which looks the same but has a larger outlet hole that's about 2 7/8". Meanwhile, I have a cast iron exhaust elbow with the inside mounting diameter being about 2 3/4". Which manifold should be on the tractor, the one with the larger outlet or the smaller one? Also, to properly install the elbow at the correct height, how many inches of exhaust pipe should there be from the manifold to the base of the elbow?
