Some time ago I asked about getting crud out of the tank on my B. I received many suggestions and finally got around to trying one. I found that putting a handful of nails inside the tank and shaking the tank around did a good job of cleaning out the inside. My tractor not only runs great, but starts without choking and at a touch of the starter. Thanks for the help. Now another question. I am wondering if I may have burned out my regulator. I was starting my tractor with the crank when the battery cable contacted the frame of the tractor (I didn't have the battery installed). The guage used to show a good charge, and the lights worked. Now neither is true. How much should a new regulator cost, or should I change over to 12 volt at this time? Thanks for any help.
