I have a '47 Cub that I use about 3 hours a week for mowing. Since last summer, when I first start the machine the hydraulics will work fine but by the time I return her to the barn she won't raise the mowing deck back up. When you move the touch control you can hear it cycling but there is no response - the deck/rockshaft stays in the down position. The fluid level seems pretty steady so it's not disappearing into the crankcase. Someone suggested a little Viagra in the hydraulic resevoir but I'm thinking since it seems to be heat related maybe I need a new hydraulic pump. Can these units be rebuilt? New pumps are too expensive and I'm not sure the gasket kits they sell would solve my problem. Any thoughts, comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
