My '47 H backfires when it runs. When it is first started it will backfire a little and shoot flame out the muffler. When it warms up it still backfires but doesn't shoot flame. The backfires are small but often. The old gal is scheduled for an overhaul but if I can fix this now I will. Shooting flame is bad when you keep your H in a hay barn!!
