Just when we finished the H seat question..POW..right in the kisser

I thought we had examined all the possibilities of Farmall H seat styles and low and behold my local machine shop guy takes me out to see his H. He thinks it 1954 0r 1955. The seat is mounted on top of a long battery box that appears would hold a 12 volt battery. The seat is anchored to the top of the battery box. It has a shock but much shorter than those that are not battery box mounted. The shock runs down to the back of the battery box. The distance between seat and box is about 8 or 9 inches. I think this configuration is similair to seats used on 400's..anyway another style of seat for the H
