Weel Weights - what was the original attaching method.

I just got a set of 150 lb wheel weights for the rear of my 300. I know trick of using treaded rod and attaching them, but out of respect for Mr. Verhoff (the original owner that painstakingly kept this tractor in such great shape) I want to keep it original. What was used to mount them from the dealership?
