| In the words of a good friend I'll set the scene. Born and bred in England, I have worked in the construction industry all my life and have been lucky enough to own the company I worked for. I retired to America two years ago with my family to escape the fast life of England and look after my parents, who were here. That's another story. By the way retired at 40, I said I would do it. In 1998 I came on holiday and bought 40 acres of land with 2000 ft of river frontage. It felt like I had a calling, I don't know. The fast life of Europe fast bikes, nice cars, I still love them but I have a new love - Mother Earth and my 1948 Ford 8N. Mac Clarke, from AL, entered 2000-09-05 |
