Update; 9/10/97. Well, luck crossed my path and I found a complete, unstuck 47 styled G not too far from home. The big beast is now sitting in my backyard in the early stages of disassembly. My father-in-law and I attempted to fire her off, but to no avail. There was good compression in the left cylinder, but little in the right. Nevertheless, the beautiful beast almost came to life on one cylinder!!! However, we decided that she deserved much more in the restoration arena. Thus it begins.
