Size of side lettering

I was looking at my tractor and noticed that the size of the letters on its 2 side panels is different. I was thinking of doing some touch up this year as the Hotsy removed most of the old oxidized paint from the lettering on the side that gets the most sun. If I am spending time painting then I might as well do it its original but dont know when they switched to smaller size letters. I have believe that someone in the past mixed up the panels from two different machines. My spare panels are all one piece and these on the 3 sped 1850 are two piece. Is the smaller lettering after a certain serial number? I know its hard to see the faded side but if you enlarge the photo you will see what I mean.

The 1850 and Cockshutt lettering are painted on the side panels. The over under lettering on the hood is
decals. I think that I remember seeing 1855's with smaller lettering but haven't seen a 55 series up close
for about 10 years. I am thinking that the font kind of changed just before they started in with the White
branding?

Where are Dumonts at? I do not know the business.
