My 525 Serial Number is 0Z55993

First year of 525 combines was either '64 or '65, I don't remember. The first "5" in your number indicates the fifth year of production. So 69 or 70 is my best guess.

TheO in the serial number indicates it is an Oliver. If the letter wouls have been a C it would have been a Cockshutt 525

Been looking for my book for two days. Darned thing was on the desk right in front of me. Says it's a 1969. 69 starts with 55756,
70 starts with 70131.

1964. It's odd the way they're listed in my book. Every year has a beginning serial number for the whole year except 68.

For that it says;

50171............1968

Then it says:

55131............1968

I wonder why they changed it from a 50 to a 55 prefix during the model year?
