Does anyone have a picture of the engine pulling adapter for 77 diesel engine, and that they could post. I have picture of the
ST-99-A eye bolt.
Manual shows everything but the adapter that bolts to head.

Thanks : Keith

I used a piece of angle iron with 2 holes spaced the same as the valve cover bolts and a third hole in the center for a chain hook from a engine hoist. Been using it for 40 years.

Manual shows that head bolt#1 is a cap screw and the 2 studs that bolt the air breather on, on front of engine. My studs that come thur the valve cover are not long enough to bolt anything on. If I had picture of factory adapter I could make one. But couldn't find it in the manual.

Somebody put a head bolt in the wrong hole. Find the head bolt that has threads on top of the hex. Screw the eyebolt on top of that bolt. I need to look if that is head bolt #1 or not. More questions? J.

My messenger seems to be down keith. One of the center head bolts on the exhaust side should have a stud out of the cap screw.
