Oliver 1600 diesel injection lines

Sorry, I'm new at this so here's a little more info. I purchased this 1600 not running, got it running, starts well & has a bad miss. #2 injector is leaking profusely & I can't get it to seal & # 5 is leaking a bit. I've found lines for 1650 & 1655 but not 1600. Are any of these interchangeable? This is my first Oliver so be kind. :) I've owned & worked on lots of diesels so I know a little. Thanks for your patience.

The EARLY 1650 had the energy cell head/injectors like the 1600 did. Those lines use the Ermeto sleeve at each line end, and can be a PAIN to seal OR get apart. Sometimes loosening and tightening the line nuts several times will get them to seal, if that's where the leaks are. Did have an Oliver S88 injector awhile back that needed replaced, it was cracked badly at the inlet. If you have leaks where two lines have rubbed together, best to replace them..

Dieseltech can these Emerto sleeves be replaced? I removed the line, cleaned both surfaces & it's better but the sleeve looked to have some scratches in it. Thanks

I used to stock them when I worked for a dealer. I would file the sleeve real thin and then tap on it and it would split and then I would put a new one on.

The American Bosch sleeve part # is SV 7922, not sure it's available. Weatherhead part # 7165 X 4 will work also. Both fit loose, but will stay on the line after the line nut is drawn down tight the first time. Line MUST stick through the sleeve about 1/8 inch, if not it won't stay on the line.
