First off, I'm not a Cockshutt guy, but a friend of mine used to be quite a collector with many, many rare ones passing through his hands in the truckloads he hauled into MI from Canada. He's pretty much been done with it for the last couple years, sold off all of his tractors and is seriously thinking of selling his place and moving to somewhere with less to take care of, so he's been cleaning EVERYTHING out of his barns. Told me he wanted me to take it all and either sell it, or scrap it out. There is a set of cultivators for a 20 deluxe, and 2 sets for a 30. Do these cultivators have any value? He told me no one wants stuff like that anymore and just scrap them. There is lots of other Cockshutt parts there as well, but I didn't have room for them today, I just took the 20 cultivators, one set of 30 cultivators, and a full load of just scrap metal. I'll get the tractor parts next time. There is a lot of 30 parts, a few 20 parts, and a few 40 parts. There is an intake manifold for a 50 diesel, some starters, a couple 30 oil pans, a 40 oil pan, a 30 head, a couple sets of rocker arms, a couple hyd tanks with the pumps, and just a bunch more odds and ends. Even a couple Oliver parts, and a narrow front end that must be off a Case or AC. The pictures of the parts above is just some of the stuff from one shed. I know a few of the parts I'll be able to sell, but I'm gonna guess the oil pans, valve covers, rocker arm assemblies, and that 50 D intake manifold are gonna be hard to get rid of. I'll hang onto some of the stuff that is easier to sell for little while, but I don't want or need anymore stuff hanging around. Any input on the cultivators? Worth anything, or just turn them into short steel?
