1977 oliver

Totally To vintage tractors! I'm setting up a homestead and just picked up a 1977 oliver e30. Never owned a tractor before but I have restored 2 cars and a motor home thus I have no worries about my mechanical capabilities. The only amateur question I have is.........do tractor attachments like diggers and snowblowers fit universally or do I have to find them for my exact model. Don't mind welding and modifying to fit if it's done right. I'm looking to get a snowblower for it and a digger....if at all possible.

Thanks in advance!

You're going to have to clarify. The last Oliver rolled off the line in 1976. That e30 model designation is causing me to draw a blank too.

If you're talking about 3 point equipment, all category 1 is interchangeable, all category 2 is interchangeable. You'll have to come up with a better description of what you own though.

See if you can find the serial number tag. There should be 2 lines with numbers on that tag. The serial number will be on the one line. The tractor specification number on the other line. Post those here. Of course a picture would also help.

In the Cockshutt world the "E" in front of the number meant EXPORT, most likely to the states.   Most likely it is a E3.

If it is a E3 the serial number will be stamped into the top of the engine frame rail towards the front on LH side.
