Cockshutt 35 PTO

The PTO output shaft on my cockshutt 35 is badly worn, i found a tractor at a nearby salvage that is said to be a cockshutt 35 but the pto hub looks different than mine, im thinking it might be a 40 or 50. are the output shafts interchangeable between those models? first picture is the salvage unit second picture is mine.

The red one appears to be the early style like on a 40 or 50 the yellow one is the later style PTO set up.

the pto in your picture is on a cockshutt 560 or 570. a lot of the parts are the same as in your pto. The shaft, the gear, and the bearings on both ends of the shaft are the exact same part so you can just swap them out. If it has hydraulics the control valve is the same as your 35. The starter you asked about is hard to find, the correct one is a Auto-lite MCL6017. A CK 540 or 550 is close and will work if its all you can find. Irv [email protected]

I don't know where you are located but I have one I took off a 40 puller that should be the same as a 35.
