Lost tap in engine block - Will it be ok??

So, I messed up and when I was chasing the threads on the head bolt holes on my 8n engine block, I was talking to someone while doing it and ended up threading the tap all the way in until it went through the threads and fell down inside the block. Will this hurt anything? Where did it go - just fall inside there or down into the oil pan? I couldnt see it so just want to make sure. Im putting a new head and new head gasket on it and after that is fixed, Im gonna refurbish it cosmetically. Im hoping I can just leave it there and it be ok.

n the water jacket/cooling passages. Not likely to make a difference.
 
NASA .NAPA TAP LOST in the BLACK HOLE!

RTR .Don't think you are going to fish it it of there.So I think its new home will be in the water jacket of the block.It will be fine,just be more careful next time.

When I rebuilt [rebuild light],the cooling passages in the block were full of radiator stop leak. I had
fixed the radiator leak earlier and a laxer thermometer didn't detect any overly hot spots. The head was
clogged as well,but with cylinders stuffed with oily rags,I pressurewashed the block until no more gunk
would come out. My point is that the engine is pretty forgiving.
