I have an 9N that lived a good life but is ready to be scrapped engine is shot repaired crack burns oil one smooth axle one riveted, aluminum dash and bottom transmission plate, rear tires rotted do not hold air. Would probably start. I wonder what it is worth as scrap 5 miles north of Cokato Mn what would be fair for someone to pay? It has a loader frame on it and front pump mount the tin is there but not special

An N with bad tires that might? run is
worth $500.
A 9N with the aluminum parts and 1 smooth
axle that might run is still worth $500 but
will sell more quickly.

You might want to rethink things if the serial number is good for an aluminum hood. I don't if an aluminum dash means the
tractor has or had an aluminum hood.

thanks for the comments. Probably a little bit more than I expected. I dont want to part it out. Some one is looking at it today and he has a trailer and winch!

An early 9N may be of some value to a restorer but it depends on what else it has that is early/original. The block serial number will verify how early it is, the block,
but not necessarily the entire tractor. If it sports some or all of the early 9N parts like 4-spoke steering wheel, aluminum horizontal bar grille, small 9N-A 2-Wire/2-
Brush GEN and the square VR it needs, or even if a 1-Wire/3-Brush B GEN and cutout would be a plus. Other items would be the brass Sediment Bulb, large non-pressurized
radiator, double rubbed fenders, and cast iron governor with no oil lube line to name a few. Bonus items would be the CM HALL headlights, TAURUS Taillight, and a Sherman.
Sometimes you can make more money parting out all the entire tractor but it might take time to dismantle, take pictures, advertise, and deal with shipping.
